🔥 ‘NEVER GIVE UP!’

Talking ahead of Saturday night’s showdown, gaffer Mazzotta didn’t hold back! He’s calling on his 24-man squad to dig deep, stand tall, and fight for the badge on their chest.

“We will have to be armed for battle and to never give up irrespective of the difficulties we may encounter,” declared Mazzotta.

The boss identified THREE NON-NEGOTIABLE KEYS TO VICTORY:

🦁 Self-Confidence — Belief in their ability under pressure!
⚡ Courage — Standing up to Northern Ireland’s brutal physicality!
🥊 Determination — Refusing to give up an inch on home turf!

🛡️ MALTESE SHIRT PRIDE

While praising his squad’s work ethic during training, the fiery manager admitted he’s never fully satisfied and demands EVEN MORE from his boys.

“It is our duty to honour the Maltese shirt to the full and for me this is extremely important,” insisted Mazzotta.

Despite tough fixtures against giants Germany and a tricky trip to Latvia looming in this frantic international window, the Malta U21 boss insists his team has total laser focus on Saturday’s blockbuster encounter.
