Gżira United Snatch Up 1.95m Defensive Giant João Teixeira
TRANSFER SHOCK
Gżira United FC have bolstered their backline with a huge new signing! The Maroons have officially secured the services of Brazilian central defender João Victor de Souza Teixeira in a major defensive upgrade.
Standing at a towering 1.95m (6ft 5in), the 29-year-old left-footed titan is heading to Ta’ Qali to add serious muscle, aerial dominance, and veteran experience to the squad. Teixeira is certainly no stranger to the Maltese Premier League—the Brazilian wall previously put in formidable shifts for both Mosta FC and Hibernians FC.
